Reverend Charles Arthur 'Chuck' Morris

Rev. Chuck Morris, 78, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

Pastor Morris was born in Watertown, South Dakota to the late Harley and Shirley Morris. The family moved to San Francisco, California when he was a young boy. Chuck joined the Air Force and was stationed at Robins Air Force Base where he met and married Judith Faye Jones, to whom he was married for 47 years until her death in 2007.

Pastor Morris was ordained in Georgia in the Assemblies of God in 1966, and he pastored churches in Lumber City, Waycross, Warner Robins, Douglasville and Columbus. His last pastorate was Faith Assembly of God in Warner Robins, a church he pioneered and led for 27 years.

He is survived by his loving children, Rev. Tony Morris (Monica), Rev. Jeff Morris (Michelle), Todd Morris (Jan), Tanya Morris, and Rev. Craig Morris (René); grandchildren, Jamie, Zach, Joshua, Reese, Kasey, Carly, Eden and Karis; and siblings, Genene Brackin, Murle Jean Ingram and Harris Morris.

Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Christ Chapel Warner Robins. A private interment will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
