Richard Bristow Lanier II, 50, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Richard was born Richard Bristow Fuchs II in Panama City, FL on July 23, 1972, to Linda Fuchs and the late Richard B. Fuchs. He last name was legally changed to Lanier when he was 12 years old.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force from where he was medically retired on June 2, 1998. While in the military, he received the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Force Training Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

Richard is survived by his mother, Linda J. Fuchs; sister, Cecilia A. Klause; brother-in-law, William Klause; nephews, Kurt Klause and Christian Klause; and his beloved dog, Bear. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bristow Fuchs.
