Richard George "Rick" Kosovan

Rick Kosovan, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2016.

Rick was born on November 26, 1952 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Nicholas and Jeanne Hartman Kosovan. He was a member of The Assembly Church at Warner Robins. Rick worked for the City of Warner Robins utility department for many years until his retirement. He collected light houses, enjoyed southern gospel music, Ford trucks, and watching wrestling and NASCAR. However, Rick's greatest joy was found in family and most particularly in being an adoring "Grandpa" to his five beloved grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He loved watching his children and grandchildren play softball.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Kathryn Kosovan of Byron; children, Ronnie Kosovan (Amy), Russell Kosovan, Rick Richardson (Melissa), David Carroll (Beth), Adeana Westmeyer, Heather Talley Fugate; grandchildren, Hunter Kosovan, Dylan Pack, Addi Talley, Alex Fugate, Kristopher Talley; great-grandchild, Dylan Talley; mother-in-law, Lucille Turner; siblings, Gordon Kosovan (Joyce) of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; Nancy Ziemienski (Gary) Middlesex, New Jersey; Stuart Kosovan of Bound Brook, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Brenda Kosovan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with Rick's family will be Friday, August 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at The Assembly Church at Warner Robins. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m. at The Assembly. The family requests everyone wear their favorite sports team jersey or shirt to the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to the family in memory of Rick Kosovan at The Assembly at Warner Robins, 6040 Watson Blvd, Byron, Ga. 31008.
