Richard Lee Wilkins

Tifton – Mr. Richard Lee Wilkins, 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2003. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 24 at New Faith Baptist Church with interment following in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilkins was born in Harrison, Arkansas. He was a retired contractor and was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the VFW. His father, Rev. Willie G. Wilkins, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Rev. Dorothy Wilkins Roberts, Warner Robins; brothers, Everette “Bert” Wilkins, Colorado Springs, CO; Rev. David G. Wilkins, Warner Robins; sister, Cheryl W. Sanford, Waynesboro, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
