Richard (Ricky) Keith Womack passed away on Sunday, January 13, in New York City.
Ricky was born on April 30, 1970 in Miami Florida. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Music Performance. He continued his music studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Ricky studied music for more than 20 years and performed as a church soloist in Austin and Manhattan. He sang with the American Choral for several years, performing the Messiah at Christmas at the Lincoln Center in New York City. He also sang with choirs at the New York Opera House and Carnegie Hall. He sang at Trinity United Methodist Church in Warner Robins while visiting. Ricky worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers in New York as a member of their Sales Strategy Group reporting team.
His parents, Richard Hugh Womack and Gladys Womack, of Warner Robins, and sister, Cheryl Lynn Wallace, of Warner Robins survive him. Ricky was a loving son and brother. His uncle, aunts (especially Aunt Maggie), cousins and friends found him a great joy to be around.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church with a memorial service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth at 304 Pierce Ave. Macon, Georgia 31204 or to Trinity United Methodist Church General Fund at 129 S. Houston Rd. Warner Robins, Georgia.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Womack’s arrangements.
