Ricky James Prather

During the early hours of Friday, December 1, 2023, Ricky James Prather, 68, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

Ricky was born on November 11, 1955, in Los Angeles, California to the late John and Elizabeth Mae Prather. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army. Ricky worked in a cabinet shop and enjoyed creating beautiful cabinets for his customers. When he wasn’t woodworking, you could find him on the water fishing.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Teresa Prather; sister, Judy Keziah; and special friend, Amanda Homan.

A graveside service celebrating Ricky’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
