Robert Bob Drahnak

Bob Drahnak, 76, entered into Heaven on Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Bob was born on October 13, 1939 in Heilwood, Pennsylvania. With great pride and honor he served in the United States Army. Following his Army career, Bob worked as a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic at Robins Air Force Base until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Bob was also an avid football fan, he loved Georgia Southern, Notre Dame, and the Pittsburg Steelers. He was an intriguing story teller and a comical jokester. Above all else, Bob was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather and friend.

His parents, Louis and Mary (Galvanik) Drahnak, and siblings, Joseph Drahnak, Frank Drahnak, Edward Drahnak, Mary Drahnak, and Dorothy Drahnak Janek, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 50 years, Geraldine Drahnak of Bonaire; daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Winskey (James) of Statesboro; granddaughter, Kathleen "Katie" Winskey of Savannah; brother, Thomas Drahnak (Barbara) of Penn Run, Pennsylvania; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary followed by a Visitation with Bob's family will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Bob Drahnak to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice Care Options, 136 Hospital Drive, Warner Robins, Ga 31088.
