Robert Banks Bundrick, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home early on the morning of Saturday, July 4, 2026. He was 83.
Mr. Bundrick was born on February 2, 1943, in Cordele, Georgia to the late R.B. and Flora Smith Bundrick. He was a proud graduate of Crisp County High School before going to work on Robins Air Force Base from where he retired as a financial management specialist. He faithfully served the Lord as a deacon at Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins. He was a simple man who loved the Lord and his family above all. In his spare time, he could be found dropping a hook and line in the water to catch a fish or crafting something beautiful from a piece of wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Peggy Schwartz and Barbara Wenger.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Quinnie Nichols Bundrick; his children, Michele Crowell (John) and Bruce Bundrick (Laura); his daughter-in-law, Lynn Bundrick; his grandchildren, Alan Crowell (Rachael), Bailey Bundrick, and Bryson Bundrick; his great-grandchildren, Cameron Crowell and Dylan Crowell; his siblings, Shirley Long, Tony Bundrick, Lynn Johns, and Gwyn Lindsey; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Visitation with Mr. Bundrick’s family will be Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Zion Hope Cemetery on Lebanon Road in Cordele, Georgia. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care shown to Mr. Bundrick by Pruitt Health Hospice and specifically Christina Trott, Dana Thornsbury, and Lynn Ferell.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Robert B. Bundrick, Jr. to Pruitt Health Hospice; 6060 Lakeside Commons Drive; Macon, Georgia 31210.
