Robert Douglas Chatham, 82, entered into rest on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Robert was born on March 14, 1942, in Alabama to the late Woodrow and Gladys Chatham. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy and later went on to work at Robins Air Force, which he enjoyed. An outdoorsman at heart, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. His presence will be dearly missed by those he loved.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Chatham.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Robert E. Chatham, and William D. Chatham (Cathy); grandchildren, Kimberly Page Chatham, Robert Evan Chatham, Kallyann Bostwick, Isabella Bostwick, Erica Denise Chatham, Adam Chandler Chatham, William Nathanial Chatham, Ivey Madison Chatham, Karli Corrin Saltz, Casey Dewayne Freeman, and Rowdy Hines; along with one sister and many other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
