Robert “Dean” Harrison, a man known for his steady kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the age of 82. His life was one marked by generosity, hard work, and a deep love for the people who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born on October 15, 1943, Dean grew into the kind of person who made every room feel a little warmer. He built a life grounded in integrity and compassion, and those values shaped every relationship he touched. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or simply listening with genuine interest, Dean had a way of making others feel seen and valued.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Millie, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership, laughter, and enduring love. Dean was a devoted father to his daughters Tammie Taylor (Craig) and Treva Hennen (Doug), who carry forward his legacy of strength and kindness.
Dean took immense pride in his grandchildren, Matthew Story (Averi), Kayla Hennen, Krista Waller (Tim), Micah Story (Emily), Britt Taylor and JD Taylor, each of whom brought him joy, purpose, and countless cherished memories. His great‑grandchildren, Jett, Brayden, Korbyn, Charlie, Harrison, and Elliot, they were a source of delight in his later years, their energy and smiles lighting up his days.
To his family, Dean was a steady anchor. To his friends, he was loyal and true. To all who knew him, he was a reminder of the quiet power of a good heart.
