Robert Michael Wilbanks

Robert Michael "Mike" Wilbanks, 58, entered into rest on Monday, August 9, 2010, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Wilbanks was born on May 15, 1952, in Macon. He was a self-employed contractor and an avid drag racer. His church home was Central Baptist Church, where he was a member of Open Arms Sunday School Class.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Dianna Walker Wilbanks; children, Eric Wilbanks, Bonaire, Kristi Hawkins (AJ), Savannah, Laci Gravely (John), Warner Robins, and Chris Reas, Grayson, Georgia; grandchildren, Kate Johnson, J.P. Gravely and McKenna Reas; parents, Jimmie and Doris Wilbanks, Sylva, North Carolina; brother, Jack Wilbanks (Judy), Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Bonaire City Cemetery, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Robert Michael Wilbanks Memorial Fund, c/o Atlantic Southern Bank, 135 GA Hwy 96, Bonaire GA 31005.
