Robin Hand Preston

Robin Hand Preston, 46, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2016.

Robin was born on June 27, 1969, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She met her husband of 26 years, Major Royal Preston, USAF (Ret.), while he was on assignment in Biloxi. They were married 4 months later, and Robin began her journey as a military wife that would carry her through six assignments on two continents with eleven more deployments in faithful support of Royal's 27-year Air Force career.

Robin's priority in life was always her family and friends. She was an active volunteer at Mossy Creek Middle School and Houston County High School in support of her children's activities. An inspiration to everyone that came in contact with her, Robin always wore a contagious smile and exhibited a positive spirit that touched so many lives.

Robin's memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband Royal Preston II of Kathleen, Georgia; daughter Jamie Preston; son Royal Preston III; parents Walter "Bobby" R. and Bettie Mae Summers Hand of Moss Point, Mississippi; sisters Christine Wooton (Mitch) and Kimberly Williamson (Billy), both of Pascagoula, Mississippi; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Relay for Life of Houston County, 804 Cherry Street Suite A, Macon, GA 31021.
