Roger Lynn Childree

Roger Lynn Childree, 66, entered into rest on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Born on March 21, 1960, in Reynolds, Georgia, Roger was the son of the late General Lee and Mary Catherine Hutchinson Childree. He graduated from Southwest High School in Macon.

Roger spent nearly two and a half decades as a Contractor Sales Manager at Lowe’s Home Improvement. He then spent the final decade of his career in custom framing at Hobby Lobby before his retirement.

In Roger’s spare time, he enjoyed football, golfing, and fishing. He also loved to travel especially to St. Simons Island and to the mountains. Above all, Roger cherished time spent with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Nancy Childree; son, Cameron Childree, both of Bonaire; and sister, Mary Colene McKenzie (William) of Fort Valley.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Roger Lynn Childree will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
