Roger Joseph Giuntini Jr., age 78, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away on June 23, 2026, at his residence following an extended illness.
Roger was born in Memphis, TN on September 17, 1947, to Roger Joseph Giuntini, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Smith Giuntini. He attended Saint Thomas and St. Michaels Elementary School and Catholic High School in Memphis, TN. He was a former member of the West Memphis Jaycees and Knights of Columbus.
Roger leaves a daughter, Lisa Marie Giuntini of Marion, AR; a son, Roger Joseph “Trey” Giuntini III (Leanne) of Brighton, TN; five grandchildren, Leigh Kirtley (Dee) of Marion, AR, Lyndsey Holt (Drake) of Marion, AR, RJ Giuntini IV (Kati) of Nashville, TN, EH Crump V (Kristi) of Austin, TX and Lauren Michele Giuntini of Brighton, TN; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his youngest son, Michael Anthony “Tony” Giuntini (1986), of West Memphis, AR; and his previous wife, Betty Jean Jarrell Giuntini of Warner Robins, GA.
Roger worked with his father at their family grocery stores which included Hi-Lo Markets and Weona stores in Memphis, TN, and Liberty Cash Grocers in West Memphis, AR until the passing of his father in 1970. Roger began a 40-year career in the automobile business as a General Manager and national buyer for several major auto retailers including Auto Nation, Pope Family Motors and Nalley Automotive Group out of Atlanta, Georgia. Roger was an avid sports fan who could be found cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Arkansas Razorbacks, Georgia Bulldogs and NASCAR. He and Betty loved their grandchildren and repeatedly took them on trips including Baby Land General Hospital, Six Flags and Disney World.
Per Roger’s wishes, he will be cremated and no public services are planned.
The family asks that any memorials or donations be made in memory of Roger to the American Cancer Society.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
