Roger Kevin Matthews, Sr.

Roger Kevin Matthews Sr., a proud father, grandfather, and veteran, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 2, 2026, at the age of 64.

Roger was born on January 28, 1962, in Marshall, Michigan. He later made his home in Warner Robins, Georgia, where he built a life centered on family, service, and quiet strength. A man of dedication and resilience, Roger’s life reflected his deep love for those around him and his commitment to the values he held dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred E. Matthews and Audrey Alta Matthews; his sister, Gloria L. Matthews; and his brothers, Fredrick E. Matthews and Robert C. Matthews.

Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Roger Kevin Matthews Jr.; his brother, Alfred Eugene Matthews; his sisters, Patricia Venable, Dianna Finan, and Emiley Pickens; and his beloved granddaughter, Riley Matthews, who brought him great joy.

Roger will be remembered for his strength, his devotion to family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. He will be forever missed.
