Roswitha “Rosie” Ewald Cooper, a beloved soul known for her zest for life, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Bonaire, Georgia. Born on July 26, 1956, in Koblenz, Germany, Rosie lived her life with a vibrant enthusiasm that touched everyone she met.

Raised in Koblenz, Rosie graduated high school and pursued her passion for cooking by attending culinary school. She thrived in the kitchen, eventually working as a chef in Ramstein, where she met the love of her life, Mansur Cooper. They were united in marriage on March 10, 2003, in Warner Robins, Georgia, beginning a beautiful journey together.

Rosie served as the chef at the Wynn Dining Facility at Robins Air Force Base, where her talent for cooking and her warm spirit created a welcoming atmosphere for all. Her culinary skills were legendary, particularly her famous potato salad and cheesecake, which delighted friends and family alike. After retirement, Rosie embraced her role as a homemaker, always ready to cater family events and bring joy through her cooking.

Rosie had a passion for life that extended beyond the kitchen. She loved watching cooking shows, indulged in the occasional gamble, and cherished spending time with friends and family. Her outgoing nature and generosity were hallmarks of her character; she was always the first to lend a helping hand or offer support to those in need.

Rosie was preceded in death by her daughter, Bianca McCrary and father, Walter. E. Young.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mansur; daughter, Brandi Fair (Rick Lewis) of Georgetown, Kentucky; step-daughter, Jasmine Dorsey of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren, Hayden, Jaxson, Jason, Helia, Sekani, Asasiya, Roswitha and Maggie; mother, Margaret Prizsor; siblings, Marian, Elka, Brunhilde, Patrick, Rienhard, Stephanie, Emri, Walter, and Gabbie; and sisters-in-law, Kim Cooper and Rhoda Cooper.
