Roy Hooks

Roy Hooks, 77, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2005 in his home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2005, from 3 until 5 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooks was born in Metter, Georgia. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He retired as a Radar Technician from Robins Air Force Base. He also served in the United States Army. His wife, Audrey L. Hooks; daughter, Regina Greene; and parents, Julius and Gertrude Hooks, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Roy Michael Hooks (Joni), Macon; daughter, Janice Braddy, Gainesville, Florida; Denise O’Hara, Cochran; grandchildren, Brian Hooks, St. Mary’s, Georgia; Lindsay Hooks, Valdosta, Georgia; Matthew Braddy, Gainesville, Florida; Kristen Braddy, Gainesville, Florida; Brandon Hodges, Cochran; sister, Ruth Williams, Gray, Georgia.
