Roy Lee Vincent, Sr., 70, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2006. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1544, 1403 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, Georgia 31099.
Mr. Vincent was born on July 18, 1935 in Clarkston, Missouri. He retired after thirty years of service from the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam era. He then worked for nineteen years civil service at Robins Air Force Base in the personnel field. He was a member of the American Legion Post 172, the Middle Georgia Honor Guard, and the 40-8 of the Legion. His parents, John and Bertha Vincent; sisters, Geneva Vincent and Virginia DeArman, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of forty two years, Beverly Vincent, Warner Robins; son, Roy Lee Vincent, Jr. (Jill), Lucas, Texas; daughters, Linda Rhodes (Barry), Warner Robins; Paulette Crouthers, Eminence, Missouri; brothers, Lawrence Vincent, Lexington, Ohio; Robert Vincent, Zion, Illinois; Jack Vincent, Malden, Missouri; grandchildren, Kelli Vincent, Renee Vincent and Brittany Crouthers.
