Roy Thomas "Tom" Prohl

Tom Prohl, loving father, grandfather, and brother, passed away at home on the afternoon of Sunday, December 2, 2018. He was 77.

Born on November 27, 1941 in Hammond, Indiana, Tom was the son of the late William Charles and Lee Prohl. A proud United States Army Veteran and goal-driven, he earned his Master’s Degree in Accounting and retired as the controller of General Foods. He was not content to sit around after retirement and went to work at Buffalo Sportservice in Buffalo, New York. Tom loved watching Purdue Basketball and the Atlanta Falcons, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Bond Prohl.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Greg Prohl (Connie) of Portage, Indiana, Curt Prohl (Allison) of Murphy, North Carolina, and Michelle Corzine (Tim) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Katie Prohl, Greg Prohl, Jr., Carrie Prohl, Cassie Prohl, Danny Prohl, Gracie Prohl, Noah Prohl, Caleb Prohl, Leslie Hennes (R.J.), Lori Wilson (Mike), Jesse Corzine, and Alex Corzine; and brother, Bill Prohl (Carol).

Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy King officiating. Burial will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Prohl’s arrangements.
