Mrs. Rubie Garrison Davis, 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at Eastview Nursing Home in Macon. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 11 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Telfair County.

Born in Jacksonville, Georgia, Mrs. Davis was retired from Avon. She was of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Ozia Davis, parents, David Lee Garrison and Lollie Garrison, daughter, Joycelyn Davis, and son, James Davis, Sr., all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her stepsons, Gene Davis and H.J. Davis, Tifton, GA; stepdaughter, Louise Davis, Tifton; brothers, Homer Garrison, Macon; Leon Garrison, Orlando, FL; sisters, Etta Mae Reynolds, McRae, GA; Marie Twardus, Orlando, FL; grandsons, Doug Bass, Cheshire, CT; Frank Bass, Milford, CT; Gary Bass, Cheshire, CT; Jim Bass, Jr., Northford, CT; and granddaughters, Shirley Bass, Branford, CT; Sharon McCabe, East Haven, CT.
