Ruby K. Coleman, 83, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2006. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28 in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Pitts, Georgia.
Ms. Coleman was born on October 24, 1922 in Dooly County, Georgia. She was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Her daughter, Wanda C. Martin, her parents, Freddie H. and Elizabeth Grantham Knowles, and her brother, Jessie Willard Knowles, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Gerald Coleman, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jessie Martin, Eric Martin, both of Atlanta; Ronnie Marks, Cochran; and great granddaughter, Hayleigh Marks, also of Cochran.
