Russell Tucker, Jr.

Russell Tucker, 61, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 2009.

Mr. Tucker was born on October 13, 1948 in Dublin, Georgia. He was a retired civil servant and a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. He was predeceased by his father, Hubert Russell Tucker, Sr.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Tucker, Warner Robins; mother, Ramona Hawkins, Kathleen; sisters, Jennifer Boyd Spurway (C.O.), Jacksonville, Florida and Gwen Tucker Giles, (Larry), Centerville; brothers, Edward Roy Tucker, (Rhonda) Centerville and Huey Steven Tucker, Savannah; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Odessa McMinn, Warner Robins; sister-in-law, Pam McMinn Doherty (Ricky), Albany; a number of nieces and nephews; and step-mother, Geraldine F. Tucker, Centerville.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, Reverend Tim Millwood and Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
