Ruth Louise Young

Ruth Louise Young, 79, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

Ruth was born on December 1, 1934 Orlando, Florida; the daughter of the late Gaylord and Carrie Griffith.

She was a 1953 graduate of Boone High School. Mrs. Young was a nurse and worked for many years for Drs. Beard and Manning in Warner Robins, Georgia. After her retirement, she served for eight years as a substitute teacher in the Houston County School System.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by a sister, Jessie Bissett.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 60 years, Mack Clifton Young; daughters, Macka McMillan (Gary) of Tyler, Texas and Lisa Robinson of Macon, Georgia; son, Tracy Young of Dunnellon, Florida; and grandsons, Jeremy and Will Robinson of Macon, Georgia.

Services will be private.
