Ruth Powers Brown, Macon- Ruth Powers Brown, 83, died Monday, December 31, 2001 at the Houston Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 03, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Joe Graham officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening January 02, from 7:00-9:00 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown was born in Pineview, GA. She was a member of Avondale Baptist Church located in Macon, GA. She was a homemaker. Her husband, David Brown, father, William V. Powers, mother, Sarah F. Giles and sister, Essie Braswell preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Brown, son, Harold Powers Brown, both of Macon; granddaughter, Emily Brown, Macon, and grandson, David Brown, of Warner Robins.
