Samantha Sheryl Herring

Macon – Samantha Sheryl Herring, 20, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 8, 2009.

Ms. Herring was born on January 30, 1989 in Macon. She was a junior at Central High School who loved her school, classmates and cherished her teachers. Samantha was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. Her father, James H. Herring, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her mother Cheryl Reese, Macon; step-fathers Michael Finley; and Greg Reese; siblings, Virginia, Lindsey and Savannah Reese, and step brother, Joelouis Barlow; Macon; grandparents, Sarah Reese, Macon, Vernon and Beverly Hudson, and Buck and Carol Herring, Macon; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Reverend Mark Johnson officiating.
