Sammie Baker Rampy

Sammie B. Rampy, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Peachbelt Health and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia. 31088.

Mr. Rampy was born in Duck Hill, Mississippi. He retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the VFW- Corder Road Post. Sammie was an avid outdoors man and a huge football fan. His parents, Walter and Eugenia Rampy, brother, Wallace Rampy, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Littlecreek, Warner Robins; sons, Randall Rampy, Hawkinsville, GA; Ronald Rampy, Warner Robins, GA; sister, Jerri R. Hawkins, Sachse Texas; brother, Homer Rampy, Dallas, Texas.
