Byron

Sandra Hope Jenkins, 62, entered into rest on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Sandra was born on April 27, 1963, in Roswell, New Mexico to the late Robert Woo and Janet Lillian Valliere Woo. As the daughter of a U.S. Air Force member, Sandra spent her early years in various countries but called Clovis, New Mexico home. It was there she met her soulmate, Robert Jenkins, with whom she shared a beautiful love story and 41 devoted years of marriage. Together, as a proud Air Force family, they traveled the world, creating a lifetime of memories.

Sandra was a woman of deep faith and servant-hearted joy. A dedicated member of Calvary Harvest Baptist Church and a teacher at Calvary’s Harvest Christian Academy, she was active in both worship and ministry. She lent her voice to the choir, lovingly cared for little ones in the nursery as an assistant to the pastor’s wife and faithfully served as a teacher within the school. Known by all as “the candy lady,” she shared sweet treats—and sweeter kindness—wherever she went.

Creativity came naturally to Sandra. She loved crafting and poured her heart into every handmade piece. But her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Robert Jenkins; children, Taylor Jenkins of Warner Robins, Georgia and Robert B. Jenkins and his wife, Christina of Clovis, New Mexico; grandchildren, Hellary, Jeremiah, and Lindsay; and siblings, Susan Page of Texas, Allen Woo of New Mexico, Gary Woo of New Mexico, and Gordon Woo of Pennsylvania; along with several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Sandra will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sandra Jenkins to Calvary’s Harvest Christian Academy at 3621 Jodeco Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
