On the morning of Monday, August 17, 2026, Sandra Delores Pruett, 85, passed away at her residence at Warner Robins Rehabilitation Center.

Sandra was born on November 2, 1940, in Whitehall, Georgia to the late Rev. Obie Carithers Hammond and Rosa Nell (Kent) Hammond.

The daughter of a Pentecostal Holiness preacher, Sandra was a spiritual person who devoted her life to her faith and her family as a homemaker, providing a loving and nurturing environment for her three children, always putting everyone else’s needs above her own. She was presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of the Air Force for “her unselfish, faithful and devoted service” as a military spouse to her husband, Lt. Col. Travis F. Pruett.

His memory will forever be treasured by her three children, James Pruett of Warner Robins, Georgia, Joseph Pruett (Melissa) of Dallas, Georgia, Jonathan Pruett (Julie) of Kathleen, Georgia; grandchildren, Alexander Pruett, Joshua Pruett, Matthew Pruett (Kendall), Hannah Pruett, Rachel Richey (Ben), Sarah Pruett, Michael Pruett (Jess), Lydia Pruett, Stephen Pruett; great-grandchildren, Aiden Terry, Catelyn Terry, Amelia Terry, Owen Pruett, Lucas Pruett; siblings Ruth Wilson of Watkinsville, Georgia, Irene O’Dillon of Watkinsville, Georgia.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins, located at 720 Carl Vinson Pkwy. Funeral services will be held immediately afterwards at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. After the service, Sandra will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Travis F. Pruett, who preceded her in death in 2018.
