Sara Evelyn Davis

Sara Evelyn Davis, 65, entered into rest on Friday, March 9, 2023.

Sara was born on November 20, 1957, in Santa Maria, California to the late Herman and Bertha Kon. Sara attended from Santa Maria High School before going to cosmetology school to become a hairdresser. From California, the family relocated to Alexandria, Louisiana. They then relocated to Warner Robins in 1992. Aside from cosmetology, Sara also worked at Subway for many years. In her free time, Sara loved bingo, telenovelas, watching TV, doing hair, and getting her nails done. She was very close with her daughter and best friend, Emily. They loved taking beach trips to Florida and playing bingo together. She also enjoyed visiting her sister in California and leisurely eating and spending time with her.

Sara’s parents, Herman and Bertha Kon, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 35 years, Alphonso Davis; children, Emily Davis and Rachal Davis; siblings Morris Kon, Anita Kon Rofer, Michael Kon, and Ester Kon.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Sara will be laid to rest.
