Sara Williams Hunter, 60, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Bonaire United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 5, with interment following in Bonaire Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hunter was born February 18, 1944 in Kathleen, Georgia to the late Thomas Newton and Beatrice Perdue Williams. She was a loving wife, dedicated mom and nana. Mrs. Hunter retired as an Item Manager at Robins Air Force Base in Civil Service and was a member of Bonaire United Methodist Church. She actively participated in the research and publication of the history of Houston County, "A Land So Dedicated". Preceding her in death were brothers, Bo Williams, Richard Williams and Earl Williams.
Survivors include, husband of 43 years Billy Hunter, Bonaire; daughter, Donna Hunter Churchwell, Bonaire; Danny Churchwell; son, Bryan Hunter (Tonya), Bonaire; brother, R. A. Williams, Perry; brother, James Williams, Ft. Valley; brother, Fred Williams (Connie), Warner Robins; brother Bobby Williams (Dianna), Perry; sister, Evelyn Rackley (Harvey), Perry; sister, Elizabeth Coldiron, Warner Robins; sister, Susie Ann Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; sister, Jeanne Bass, Byron; sister, Karen Edwards, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Bailey and Dawson Churchwell, Bonaire; Bryan, Jr. and Madison Hunter, Bonaire; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Fredericke’ Hoitink, Holland.
