Sarah Delle Brown

Sarah Williams Brown, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior early in the morning on January 28, 2024.

Sarah was born on September 2, 1941, in Dexter, GA to the late Elisha and Lessie Howell Williams. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, mother, and friend. Sarah was the lunchroom manager for Warner Robins High school for twenty-four years, and she was one of the school’s biggest fans. She completed her career in food service, as a nutrition manager, with the Houston County Board of Education for seven years. 

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Brown and her precious granddaughter, Samantha Paige Slappey. She was also preceded by three brothers and four sisters. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her three daughters, Donna L. Carrier (Rickey), Brenda A. Taylor (David), and Tammy D. Slappey (Benny); grandchildren, Bryan Carrier (Michelle), Jessica Schortinghouse (Jay), Matt Taylor (Krista), Marla Hutchens (TJ), Brett Taylor, and Sarah Slappey, eight great grandchildren, brother, Wayne Williams, sister-in-law, Betty Allison Parker, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with Sarah’s family will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with the funeral service celebrating her life following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Following the service, Sarah will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.  For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
