Warner Robins

Scotty Olen Hunnicutt, born August 16, 1971, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Olen and Helen Wylie Hunnicutt, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. He was 53 years old.

Scotty was a man of deep faith, devoted to his church and actively engaged in growing his relationship with the Lord through his discipleship journey. His love for Christ shone through in the way he lived—always seeking to lead by example and gently guide his family down the path of faith.

A proud grandfather, Scotty cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. He could often be found teaching them new things, laughing, playing, and simply soaking in the joy they brought into his life. Bringing his grandbabies to church and encouraging his children to stay close to God was one of his greatest passions.

On warm days, Scotty was happiest riding his Harley, enjoying the freedom of the open road and taking in the beauty of God's creation. It was during those rides that he found peace, reflection, and a deeper connection to the world around him.

Scotty was a man who loved hard, with a fierce and unwavering devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and profound impact on the lives of all who knew him. Family was the cornerstone of his life, and he lived each day with the intention of drawing them closer to one another and to God.

He will be remembered as a loving father, a proud grandfather, a loyal friend, and a faithful servant of Christ.

Scotty’s presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His life was a testimony to the power of love, faith, and family.

In addition to his parents, Scotty was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Morton.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Crystal Hunnicutt; children, Amber Hunnicutt, Dylan Hunnicutt (Brianna), Dalton Hunnicutt (Taylor), Austin Taylor (Erica) and Konar Taylor; grandchildren, Alexander, Emmitt, Abigail, Waylon, Weston, Asher, Lillianna, Ryleigh, and Oaklynn; brother, Dan Morton; and niece, Brandy Morton.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church with a funeral service immediately following. Scotty will be laid to rest at a private graveside service.
