Selma Lee Davis was born on April 30, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland, where she was raised. She graduated from Patapsco High School in Dundalk, Maryland.

As a military wife, Selma worked various factory jobs while her husband was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base. Following his retirement in 1990, they moved to Warner Robins, Georgia. Selma was known for her exceptional work ethic and her skill in every task she undertook. Over the years, she worked at Eddie Wiggins Ford, Hughes Honda, Toyota, and Butler Chrysler. Prior to her retirement, she spent her final 11 years working for the Houston County Tag Office.

Selma loved shopping and cherished time spent visiting friends and former coworkers, especially at the dealerships where she had worked. She was exuberant, spunky, and sassy—strong-willed and never afraid to share her opinion.

She adored her beloved puppies, Cody, Smokey, and Bear, and above all, she deeply loved her devoted husband, Gordon.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Gordon Davis and three sisters.

The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating.
