Sharon Kay Cyr

October 3, 1944 — July 27, 2025

Warner Robins

Sharon Kay Cyr, 80, entered into rest on the morning of Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 3, 1944, Sharon was the daughter of the late Dewey and Betty Baldwin Maus.

A devoted and supportive military wife, Sharon lived all over the world, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever she was planted. She worked as a telephone operator at Zaragoza Air Force Base in Spain and selflessly volunteered at the NCO Wives’ Club, with base chaplains, and in community soup kitchens while stationed at bases in both Arkansas and Georgia. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life; Sharon read her Bible daily and shared her love for the Word while teaching children at the base chapels.

Sharon was a quiet giver, always looking for ways to serve others. She especially loved baking and took joy in delivering food to friends and neighbors alike.

She will be remembered with love and gratitude by her family and many friends whose lives she touched along the way.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings, Dewey Maus, Jr., Ronnie Maus, Curtis Maus, and Rita Hagen.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 56 years, Victor Normand Cyr of Warner Robins; Terry Maus of Minnesota, and Jon Maus of Virginia.

At the family’s request, all services held will be private.
