Sheila Ann Glenn Waddle, born Sheila Ann Roland on May 1, 1949, in Albany, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday evening, February 25, 2026, in Centerville, Georgia. She was 76 years old.
Raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, she graduated with honors from Northside High School in 1967. She was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend whose joyful spirit shaped all who knew her.
She was first married to Robin Wendell Glenn, who preceded her in death in 1990. Together they welcomed their daughter, Kelly Ann Glenn Hentges. Sheila later married Ted Waddle, her loving and devoted husband until her passing. Ted faithfully cared for her through a season of declining health, a reflection of the love they shared.
Her greatest pride and joy was being Nana to her three grandchildren, Samuel, a junior at the United States Air Force Academy; Grace, a freshman at Clemson University; and Lydia, a sophomore at St. Joseph High School in California. She cherished each of them deeply and delighted in their accomplishments and dreams.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Roland; her mother, Frances Roland; and her sister, Pat Roland.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Waddle; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Jeff Hentges; her beloved grandchildren; her brother, Steve Roland; her sisters, Brenda Roland and Linda Crabb; and her loved nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Sheila worked in a variety of bookkeeping roles, bringing diligence and integrity to her work. Outside of her career, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid antique collector and thrifter who delighted in finding unique treasures. She was an incredible Southern cook who loved gathering her family around the table. Her garden was another place of peace and pride. Sheila loved playing golf, and some of her most treasured times with friends were spent on the greens at International City Golf Course, laughing, competing, and enjoying good company.
Sheila was a Christian who believed deeply in Christ. Her faith was important to her throughout her life and sustained her during a season of declining health.
