Sherl Ann Castleberry Watson entered into Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was 69 years old.

Ann was born on January 1, 1957, in Georgiana, Alabama. A loving wife and mother, Ann’s family was at the center of her life, and she treasured the time she spent with those she loved most.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Ann had a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with others and was a true soul winner for Christ. For many years, she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, using her love for the Lord to encourage others and help them grow in their faith. Her devotion to Christ was evident in the way she lived her life and cared for those around her.

Ann was preceded in death by her father, James Castleberry.

Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joel Watson of Centerville; daughter, Amy Watson of Centerville; grandchildren, Calvin Murray of Centerville and Shelby Murray of Dover Air Force Base, Delaware; sisters, Jan Cassidy of Roopville and Peggy Holloway (Dale) of DeFuniak Springs, FL; brother, Edward Castleberry (Cindy) of Roopville; and mother, Katrina Dean of DeFuniak Springs; along with many other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
