It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Floyd, age 68, who left this world peacefully on November 3,2024 in Warner Robins, GA. Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

Born on August 29, 1956, in Lizella, GA, Shirley lived a life filled with love, resilience, and compassion. She was known for her generous spirit, her love of God and Christ, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her sense of kindness and gentle nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her son Brad Floyd; grandchildren (spouse/partner); and great-grandchildren, Jesse (Stephanie) Vallen, Brandy (Isaac) Lunelle & Alister, Marissa and Ashley Dior; as well as sister, Patricia Boyles and countless friends who considered her family. 

She is predeceased by Sandra and Richard Causey, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Centerville,108 Church St. Centerville, GA 31028.

Her love, laughter, and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
