Shirley Elizabeth "Shy" Parker

Shirley Elizabeth Parker, 39, entered into rest on Monday, September 30, 2013.

Shirley was born on April 3, 1974 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was affectionately known by family and friends as "Shy". A loving mother and homemaker, she was of the Christian faith. Shy loved spending time with family and friends. She was passionate about gardening and especially loved flowers. Her father, Joe Paul Parker, paternal grandmother, Susan Parker; maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother, Willie and Mary Crabb, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Brandon West, Haynesville; Dawson Parker, Perry;
mother, Angela Kjeldgaard, Perry; sister, Angel Maine, Perry; grandfather, Joe Parker, Fayetteville, North Carolina; aunt, Shirley Kelly, Warner Robins; nephew, Dylan Ford, Haynesville; niece, Gracee Maine, Perry; stepfather, Kevin Kjeldgaard, Cordele; step grandmother, Kathleen Kjeldgaard, Warner Robins; and a number of loving cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 4, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Brother Chris Bambrough officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
