Shirley Mimbs Seals

Shirley M. Seals, 71, entered into rest Friday, December 12, 2008.

Mrs. Seals was born on July 2, 1937 in Johnson County. She was a homemaker who had worked as a dental assistant and a bank teller for a number of years. Her husband, Charles "Ed" Seals, parents, Milo Mimbs and Laverne Martin Mimbs and brother, Shelton Mimbs, all predeceased her.

Treasuring her memory are daughter, Marsha Cumbass, Adrian; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Penny Seals, Perry; grandchildren, Michael Cumbass, Daniel and Samantha Seals; great-granddaughter, Chasity Cumbass and sister, Nell Pamperien.

Visitation was held Friday, December 12, 2008 at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, the Reverend Theron Long officiating. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
