Smsgt. Michael E. "Mike" Carr, Usaf (Ret.)

Michael E. "Mike" Carr, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

Mike was born on August 2, 1947 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late George and Birdie Carr. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years. During his Air Force career Mike was promoted to the rank of Sr. Master Sergent, his service time included both the Vietnam and Gulf War. Mike then went to work for the Houston County Roads and Bridges Department where he retired as the superintendent. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving daughters, Kellie Piet (Greg) and Laura Cuskey (Chad); granddaughter, Nicole Cuskey; and siblings, Barbara Ann Davis and Keith George Carr.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 6000 Clinton Blvd. Jackson, MS. 39209.
