Christopher “Chris” Vinson, 22, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2005. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2005, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Chris was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from Northside High School in 2003, and was a member of the Demill Drill Team. He was currently serving in the United States Army stationed at Fort Benning. He was also a member of Warner Robins Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his parents, Charles and Alison Vinson, Warner Robins; brother, Marcus Vinson, Warner Robins; maternal grandmother, Wilma Cox, Warner Robins; paternal grandmother, Lou Vinson, Greenville, South Carolina; maternal grandfather, Alfred Edge, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; paternal uncle, David Vinson (Sue), Greenville, South Carolina; paternal uncle, James Vinson (Louanne), Columbia, South Carolina; maternal aunt, Cindy Suggs (Kenny), Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; maternal aunt, Hannah Willard, Murriels Inlet, South Carolina.
