With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Walker, a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and Air Force veteran, who left this world on July 23, 2025, at the age of 65.
Terry proudly served his country for nearly 14 years, a testament to his unwavering strength, discipline, and dedication to something greater than himself. His military service was only one part of the incredible life he built — a life defined by family, loyalty, love, quiet strength and resilience.
For 34 beautiful years, Terry was the beloved husband of Donna, his partner, best friend, and constant companion throughout all of life’s chapters and challenges. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and deep steady love.
Terry was the proud father of four children — Tawanda, Terry, Cameron, and Reece — each of whom carries a piece of his spirit, his strength, and his love, forward. He was a man of few words but deep impact. Those who knew him will never forget his presence, his love, his laugh or his legacy.
With his passing, Terry has been reunited with his parents, Clarence and Essie Vera (Fulks) Walker; four brothers, Howard Lavon, Melvin, Timothy Lee, and David Clarence Walker; paternal grandparents, Ida and Willie Walker; maternal grandparents, Sadie and James L. Fulks, Sr.; and numerous other relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Donna Walker, of Warner Robins, GA; four children, Tawanda (Quincy) Quarles, of South Fulton, GA; Terry Allen, of Orlando, FL; Cameron (Katya) Walker, of Easley, SC; and Major Reece (Samantha) Walker, of Washington D.C.; four grandchildren, Jaiden and Madison Quarles, Nora and Mazikeen Walker; two brothers, Retired Lt. Commander Robert (Liza) Walker, of Chula Vista, CA; Larry J. Walker Sr., of Mesa, AZ; and his only sister, Vera “Lady” Walker Gee (Rodney), of Saint Louis, MO.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 3:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins, GA. A memorial gathering will be held one hour prior to his service. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man who meant so much to so many.
Though he is no longer with us, Terry’s story continues through the lives he touched — and the love that remains.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith: Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to those who have longed for his appearing.” II Timothy 4:7-8 (NIV)
