Ssgt. Willie Bobby Brinkley, Usaf (Ret)

Willie Bobby Brinkley, 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Brinkley was born on August 30, 1928 in Monroe, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. SSgt. Brinkley retired from the United States Air Force where he served during the Korean Conflict. His parents, George W. and Ethel Viola Carter Brinkley; brother, G.T. Brinkley; sisters, Dorothy Elledge and Frances Johnston, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Zelma Jeanette Powell Brinkley, Warner Robins; brother, Curtis L. Brinkley, Warner Robins; and several loving nieces and nephews.
