Stanley Faith Brassell, 65, of Warner Robins, Georgia, stepped into his glorious new life on Sunday, March 22, 2026. After a lifetime of enduring physical challenges, he is finally free of the pain and suffering that shadowed much of his earthly journey.
Stanley was born in Macon on June 4, 1960, to the late Ronald and Estelle Brassell. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Vining; his uncle, Durham Johnson; and his aunt and uncle, Vivian and A. I. Willis, Jr.
A man with an exceptionally large heart, Stanley loved people deeply. He cherished the many friendships he built during his years at Gramps and Grannies, where he was a beloved member of the community. Above all, he loved his family: Judy and Walter Williams, Karen Falkner, Jennifer Smith, and Kim and John Davis and each and every cousin.
Stanley was known for his intentionality. He was a faithful caller, always checking in to ensure his loved ones knew he was thinking of them and their families. He had a remarkable memory, remembering almost everyone he ever met and the exact moment they crossed paths. Sentimental, kind, and a loud, genuine laugh, Stanley’s presence was a gift to those who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
A visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Stanley’s life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Stanley will be laid to rest privately in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
