Steven Lewis Baughan

Steven Lewis Baughan, age 63, passed into the hands of his Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas, on June 18, 1957, to the late Horace L. and Nita LeFlore Baughan. Steven was an extremely good-hearted and goal-oriented person having earned Master’s degrees in Business and Theology, but had become disabled in recent years. A self-proclaimed “mama’s boy,” he sincerely loved his mother and helped care for her until her passing in October.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Betty Wagner (David) of Perry and Sally Richardson (Archie) of Prattville, Alabama; niece, LeKeyshia Marie Popwell (George); and nephew, Brandon Richardson (Shea).

Steven will be laid to rest with a graveside funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Magnolia Park Mausoleum, with Reverend John Lehenbauer officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
