Susie M. Lowery

Susie Lowery, 94, died Monday, March 25, at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 27 at Christ United Methodist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, from 7:00 until 9:00pm McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lowery was born in Marion, AL. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Marion City Board of Education. She was a member of the Lydia Circle Ladies Group at Christ United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She was preceded in death by her parents, Judson Carter Townsend and Mary Ann Townsend.

Survivors include her son, Glenn T. Lowery, Sr., Bonaire; grandsons, Glenn T. Lowery, Jr.; Chad J. Lowery; Gene V. Lowery, all of Athens, GA; granddaughters, Denise Lowery, Spain; Margaret S. Lowery, Warner Robins; great-grandchildren
Peyton Lowery and Luke Lowery, both of Athens, Ga.
