Sylvia Cone Getter

Warner Robins – Sylvia Cone Getter, 72, went to be with her heavenly father March 25, 2010.

Mrs. Getter was born November 1, 1937 in Greenville, Florida. She worked for Warner Robins Supply for many years before retirement. A devoted homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Getter was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of Nile, and Houston County Shrine Women Auxiliary. Her parents, David Cone and Beulah Cone, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of ten years, David Getter, Warner Robins; step-daughter Kim Jenkins, Colquitt; brothers, Frank Cone, Perry, Florida; and Gerald Cone, Coal Hill, Arkansas; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Grand Lodge of GA-Chip Program, 811 Mulberry Street, Macon, Ga. 31201-6779.
