Tammy Jean Sherman

Tammy Jean Sherman, age 52, entered into rest on January 23, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1973, to Sammy and Carolyn Carroll.

Tammy’s greatest joy and proudest role in life was being an Oma to her beloved grandson. Nothing brought her more happiness, and nothing showed her heart more clearly than the love she poured into him.

Tammy was endlessly creative and exceptionally talented. She was a gifted miniaturist and painter who loved to draw, and she created fabric patterns and greeting cards. She also published and illustrated books, sharing her imagination and artistic eye with others. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Tammy was known for making the best pies, a talent that brought comfort and smiles to everyone lucky enough to share her table.

Tammy was a hairstylist and interior designer, and she was remarkably successful in everything she set her mind to. Her passion, dedication, and natural ability allowed her to excel in every path she chose. Above all else, Tammy loved her family and friends wholeheartedly. She gave deeply, loved fiercely, and left an unforgettable mark on the lives of all who knew her. Her creativity, warmth, and generous spirit will be missed beyond measure.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband, Gregory T. Sherman; children, Ian Sherman (Hannah) and Caitlin LeBlanc (Devin); grandson, Ambrose LeBlanc; parents, Sammy and Carolyn Carroll; and brothers, Timothy Carroll (Carrie) and Aaron Carroll (Melanie).

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterwards, Tammy will be laid to rest at Andersonville National Cemetery.
