Ted O'Neal Middleton, Jr.

Ted O’Neal Middleton, Jr., 67, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Born in Americus on April 4, 1958, Ted was the beloved son of the late Ted O’Neal Middleton, Sr. and Rose Marie Wellons Middleton. A gifted painter and skilled tradesman, Ted took great pride in his work. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was casting a line while fishing, diving into a crossword puzzle, settling in to watch his favorite show, Jeopardy, or painting, Ted delighted in the simple pleasures of life.

Ted is survived by his nephew, Frank Heath VanDerLinden, and niece, Angela Hammer (Rockne). He was also a loving father figure and considered Tomeka Johnson and Brandon Hunt as his own children, and Lecory Wynn his grandson, embracing them with the same love, care, and guidance he gave to his family.

A memorial service honoring Ted’s life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
