Teresa Dianne Caven

On Wednesday morning, November 8, 2017, Teresa Dianne Howell Caven, 61, changed her address to Heaven.

Mrs. Caven was born on January 18, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama, but she had lived most of her life in Warner Robins. She loved her family dearly, and caring for them was her priority in life. She raised her 3 children, and assisted in raising her 13 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. Mrs. Caven was the happiest whenever she was serving the Lord at Hope Church, serving others, and singing the praises of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her smile was genuine, and she was loved by all who knew her. Her hugs were considered the best and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her father, Bishop Joseph Howell; sister, Judy Davis; and grandparents, Noah and Eva Howell and Ernest and Gladys Barker.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of twenty years, Raymond A. Caven; her children, Winston Lewis, Karissa Johnson, Jason Lewis, Michael Dunn, and Christopher Caven; her grandchildren, Jamey Lewis, C.J. Allen, Adrianne Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Gaven Johnson, Noah Johnson, Marshall Johnson, Kelly Dunn, Emma Dunn, Alainna Williams, Makenzie Caven, Aubree Caven, and Taylor Caven; her great-granddaughters, Paisley Barlow, Ivy Johnson, and on the way, Nova Johnson; her mother, Rachel B. Howell; and her sisters, Renee Ellis (Don) and Josie Smith (Mark).

Visitation with Mrs. Caven’s family will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Hope Church. Following the service, Mrs. Caven will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Hope Church Legacy, 204 Sullivan Road, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030.
